Who we are

standby, please LLC ("standby, please", "we", "us", or "our") makes software and hardware for technical theatre practitioners. Our website is at standbyplease.tech.

What we collect

We collect only what we need:

  • Contact enquiries. If you email us, we receive your email address and any information you include in your message.
  • Basic server logs. Our hosting provider may log standard request data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). We do not use this for tracking.

We do not run analytics scripts, advertising trackers, or third-party pixels on this site. We do not use cookies beyond what is technically required to serve the page.

App diagnostic logs

Our apps may store local debug logs on your device to assist with troubleshooting. These logs remain on your device and are never transmitted automatically. If you experience a technical issue and contact us for support, you may be asked whether you wish to share these logs with us. Transmission occurs only at your explicit request, and logs are used solely for the purpose of investigating the specific issue you have reported. We do not retain diagnostic logs beyond the resolution of the relevant support case.

How we use it

We use your contact information solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to mailing lists without your explicit consent, and we will never sell or share your personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.

Data retention

We retain email correspondence for as long as is reasonably necessary for business and legal purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@standbyplease.tech.

Third-party services

This site is served via Cloudflare, whose infrastructure may process request data in accordance with Cloudflare's privacy policy. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts; Google may log font requests per their privacy FAQ.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our products and services develop. Material changes will be noted with an updated date above.
